Where is the funding for the costs of Return to Field?

Dear Million Cat Challenge, Where is the funding for the costs of Return to Field? – Broke in the Field Dear Broke,

This depends on the community. Sometimes it comes from the shelter budget because it can be cheaper to perform Return to Field right away than to house a cat in the shelter for a few days or a week. In other cases the RTF program is funded by a nonprofit partner or grants.
